Advocacy for Retirees and the University

  • Advocacy is one of four objectives for our 501(c)(4) organization and the main reason why many retirees join MURA.
  • Our purpose is “to represent, promote and protect the interests of the retirees and to promote the welfare of the University of Missouri.”
  • We advocate at multiple levels: MU campus, UM System, community, state government, and nationally.
