Who can join MURA?
Membership is open to University of Missouri retirees, former employees, pre-retirees, and their partners/spouses who are age 55 or older. This includes anyone who holds or has held an UM appointment from any of the four University of Missouri campuses, including but not limited to adjunct faculty/staff, grant-funded positions, Extension, MU Healthcare, UM System and USDA personnel. With approval of the MURA Board, Associate (non-voting) membership is also available to persons who have retired from another college or university.
What does it cost to join MURA?
New, first-time members receive a complimentary, one-time Annual MURA Membership. After one year, you may renew as a Life Member or Annual member, paying applicable dues. Annual renewal dues are $20.00 and Lifetime membership dues are $100.
Types of Membership – Lifetime or Annual
- Lifetime membership fee is $100 per person, one-time payment.
- New Annual – Complimentary – one year
- Renewing Annual membership fee is $20.00 per person per year with renewals due Jan. 1 each year.
