If class space is available, 100% of the educational and student activity fee is waived for any college level credit course. There is no limitation to the number of hours, except those established by the college or school for full-time students. Information about the steps that must be taken to use this program and any restrictions of the program are included in HR-303 of the Human Resource Policy Manual.

Offers non-credit computer courses free of charge. Registration is required and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The complete course descriptions and current schedule, including class times, is available on the web.
MU Libraries

Includes Ellis Library, the main library on campus, and six branch libraries: engineering, geological sciences, journalism, math sciences, health sciences and veterinary medicine. The University Archives, the Freedom of Information Center, the Tate Hall collection, and the UM Libraries Depository, which stores rarely used volumes of the UM Libraries, are also part of the library system. The MU Libraries collection includes over 2.8 million volumes and 6 million microforms, and has the fifth largest microform collection among North American research libraries. Many automated research tools such as the MERLIN Online Catalog, CD-ROM databases, Internet terminals, and hundreds of online databases nationwide are available. Retired university faculty and staff may check out library materials.

The community Music Program provides quality non-credit applied music instruction to students of all ages. Instruction is offered on all levels, from beginner to advacne, in most band and orchestral instruments, plus piano and voice.
