Meeting Minutes: November 20, 2007

Coffee Zone

Met at Coffee Zone at 11 am. Present were Bauman, Littrell, Leveane and Hahn.

Discussed charge and need to have other members appointed.

From MURA standpoint, we are concerned of persistent rumors that benefits may be cut as a money saving issue. We need incontrovertible assurances that this (dipping into the retirement fund) will NEVER happen.

The committee would also like to see additional information with regard to the retirees health insurance program – such as; what do we pay for administrative costs of the program, the web sites for reporting on the retirement plan and its investments, etc.

It was suggested we meet soon with Ken Hutchinson and Mike Paden to discuss these concerns. Perhaps Bob Stewart should also attend such a meeting.

The meeting adjourned at about noon. Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in the Union coffee shop.
